The evening will start at 19.30 and run until 22.30 with a half hour break inbetween presentations.  Entrance is free and there will be drinks available with smoking outside the studio only please.  Part 1 of this series will be curated by Anna Maria O´Keeffe (Austrailia) and Desmond Shortt (Irerland):

Anna-Maria Okeeffe’s most current work is focused primarily on sculpture as meduim, through which a number of recurrent themes are explored, particularly the landscape panorama. These physical renditions of environments have ranged in size from miniature through to room sized installations at 1:1 scale. Images of some of these works and accompanying texts can be found at the following links:

Desmond Shortt is an Irish painter, “An enthusiastic exponent of contemporary Rococo and Baroque”.  He joins Skizum after a six month tour of India where he began his music studies.

“His paintings are fantasy extravaganzas – preposterously camp pictorial inventions. They feature an eclectic cast of characters, including anthropomorphic, Disney-like cartoonish animals, fairy tale princes and princelings and wildly pneumatic, shapely nudes. “
