“Introducing…”, is an art salon style evening where artists, designers or just clever and active individuals introduce themselves via their creative activities. Each presenter determines the format for their presentation utilizing the beamer, computer slide projector and sound system here at Skizum Studios Berlin. MAP

Gabriel Shalom is an international multimedia producer, interactive designer and videomusician living and working in Berlin. His personal artistic practice focuses on the creation of audiovisual compositions from original electro-acoustic performances. His videos have screened in numerous festivals and art galleries, including the Optronica Festival London, Viper Basel, Club Transmediale Berlin, Vereinigung Bildener KünstelerInnen Wiener Secession, Rokolectiv Festival Bucharest, Museum Ludwig Köln, Gallery Olaf Stüber Berlin, and Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin. Together with Patrizia Kommerell, Shalom is a principal partner in the company KS12, a creative studio for website design, visual identity and audiovisual communication. He lectures on the subjects of motion graphics, film and new media at the Berliner Technischen Kunsthochschule. In 2006 he was an artist in residence at the ZKM | Karlsruhe. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Film and Electronic Arts from Bard College, New York.
He also writes a blog called Quantum Cinema about the future of cinema and his original theories of Hypercubism and Quantinuity.

Robert Heel studied and worked together with Karl Bartos (Ex-Kraftwerk). Holds a Master of Arts (UdK Berlin) and Bachelor of Media Design (FHSH) degree. Awarded a DAAD-scholarship for the Cleveland Institute of Art.. Robert Heel’s main interest is to define audiovisual relations. Past screenings include “EMAF”,“Todaysartfestival”,“
“VJ-Mapping” Geneva, “backup.award”, Bauhaus Uni Weimar , Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. Exhibitions at “Württembergischer Kunstverein” Stuttgart e.V, “fluctuating images” gallery, Stuttgart, “the LAB” gallery, San Francisco and others.
