Film night august 10th

Inspired by www.piratecinema.org we will have a special film night that will turn into a party. So mark the date 10th of August in your calendar – it starts around 22 hrs. We have chosen three films that we will show using our very cool projector. The films:

• Deported Women of the SS Special Section by Rino di Silvestro – a lesbian nazi prison drama (English with Japanese subtitles)

• Terrifying Girls’ High School: Lynch Law Classroom by Norifumi Suzuki – s/m highschool girl squads in Japan (English subtitles).

• And we are thinking of showing a third and still secret one in the basement – that one will not be for the faint-hearted.

Oh Beautiful at Ladyfest

Pumpwerk event was cool! Rachel will perform Oh Beautiful: My Patriot Act again this Saturday at Ladyfest.

Das Pumpwerk Grand Opening Jubiläum Celebration!

Scottie is one of the founders/organizers turning this old pumping station into a new performance space. It will open this Saturday, July 28th, with dance, video and music performances from 7pm. And Scott and Rachel are among the performers! Skizum nepotism rules!

basic webdesign course august 1st

On next wednesday Andreas will teach a two hour course in basic webdesign at Skizum studios, starting at 21 hrs. Feel free to come by and learn to make a cool website with html and CSS – bring a laptop computer if you have one. And it is a good idea to download some software like Dreamweaver
